The Art of Research VI Сonference. Catalyses, Interventions, Transformations

"Perspectives on Research through Art and Design Practices" is a course offered to complement the Art of Research conference.

The course "Perspectives on Research through Art and Design Practices" introduces approaches, methodologies, issues and concerns in ‘research through practice’. Here, ‘research through practice’ refers to a broad continuum of artistic research approaches, practice-led and -based research approaches in the arts, and constructive design research approaches. Through readings and the 2017 Art of Research conference, the course introduces these through a series of specific examples of researchers and their research work from Aalto, other universities in Finland and elsewhere.
