Research Catalogue workshop

In this workshop we learn to create media-rich expositions with the Research Catalogue (RC) web platform and workspace editor. With web-based expositions, art practice can be put to the center of your research output with the free layout of video, sound, image and text elements. In this workshop we also discuss the use of the exposition format for your current research topic. RC can be used for collaborative teamwork, personal research uses, thesis or journal publication. Journal for Artistic Research (www.jar-online.net), RUUKKU Studies in Artistic Research (ruukku-journal.fi) and Journal of Sonic Studies (sonicstudies.org) all use the RC exposition format.

This three-hour workshop is conducted by Doctor of Arts Tero Heikkinen from University of Arts Helsinki. Tero is the issue co-editor of the RUUKKU journal. The workshop can take in about 20 participants. Contact Tero for registration to this workshop and all queries regarding the workshop: tero.heikkinen@uniarts.fi.
